Producer Ekta Kapoor has postponed the release of her upcoming film 'Jabariya Jodi' from July 12 to August 2, 2019. The decision has been made to avoid a clash with Hrithik Roshan's hugely anticipated Super 30 which will be releasing on that day. Interestingly Hrithik's Super 30 release has been preponed from July 26 to July 12 to avoid a class with Kangana Ranaut's upcoming film 'Mental Hai Kya' also produced by Ekta Kapoor. Ekta who took to Twitter to announce the rescheduled date of Jabariya Jodi, has mentioned that she was forced to change the release date of the film.

Jabariya Jodi starring Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra in the lead roles is directed by Prashant Singh. The movie is a romantic comedy based on 'Pakadwa Vivah  (forced marriage), which was once rampant in Bihar. The film has been co-produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor and Shaailesh R Singh.
