Mahesh Babu's Maharshi which is touted to be an emotional drama based on organic farming is directed by Vamsi Paidipally and has Pooja Hegde playing female lead. The film which went to censor process has been certified with a U/A. The film is now all set to hit theater screens on May 9, 2019.

The film showcases the different stages of Rishi's life - a businessman, a college student and a farmer. Seemingly Allari Naresh plays the role of Rishi's friend in the film.
