K.V. Anand who is known for filming at picturesque locations updated today that the team of his upcoming film Kaappaan is shooting at Java, the volcanic island of Indonesia. Sharing an image from the location, the director of the Suriya starrer wrote:

Java is as famous for its active volcanoes (Like Merapi) as much it is for its natural landscapes like the Deing Plateau. Surely we can look forward to some eye pleasing images from the captial city of Indonesia in the movie.
Kaappaan is produced by Lyca Productions and is touted to be a thriller film also starring Mohanlal, Sayyesha, Arya, Boman Irani among others. The film's teaser gained a considerable amount of positive attention upon release a few days ago.
The movie is scheduled for a release on August 30, 2019.
