Ever since British actress Daisy Edgar Jones opted out of Rajamouli directed RRR, focus has been on who will be replacing her as one of the female leads in the film. Last week, buzz in the Telugu film industry was that actress Nithya Menon was asked to do a screen test for the film, which already stars Jr. NTR, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Samuthirakani and Alia Bhatt among others.
Latest update on this front is that Nithya Menen is done with her screen test and the team is also looking at Shraddha Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra to be roped into the film. While it is unclear which of these actresses will be finalized for what role, it sure does look like the team is keen on finalizing the female characters soon.
RRR is currently being shot at Gujarat and plans to release by July 30, 2020. The movie is expected to release in as many as 10 languages and will be fictional story on the lives of Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem.
