It has been nineteen years since the iconic Sanjay Leela Bhansali directed Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam starring Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai and Ajay Devgan released and went on to amass the cult following it did.
Now after months of speculation, it has finally been made official that Khan and Bhansali are teaming up yet again and this time too they have gone in for a love story.
A statement from the CEO of Bhansali Productions, SLB's home banner read, "The magic of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam was missed by fans for 19 years and left them waiting for the director-actor to reunite. After Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, SLB and Salman Khan come together in a love story.”
This yet untitled project is most likely to begin shooting from September, 2019 (once Salman completes Dabangg 3) and release in 2020. An official announcement on the rest of the cast and crew is expected to be made in the days to follow.
