We had reported earlier that Shankar directed Indian 2 which will see Kamal Haasan return as the octogenarian vigilante Senapathy, is all set to begin shooting from January, 2019.
Now, it has been revealed that the film which has Kajal Aggarwal playing female lead will begin shooting from January 18, 2019.
It has also been revealed that the film will begin shooting at Pollachi, a town in the Coimbatore district of Tamil Nadu and that it is aiming for a Diwali, 2019 release.
Indian 2 is a production venture of Lyca Productions, and a few days ago there were talks about the series' original producer A.M. Rathnam coming on board as well.
The movie has music by Anirudh Ravichander and names like Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Huma Qureshi, Dulquer Salmaan and Simbu have been associated with the project from time to time.
