That is Mahalakshmi is the Telugu remake of Bollywood's super-hit blockbuster Queen. Tamanna Bhatia plays the leading lady in the Telugu version and her character name in the film is Mahalakshmi. The film directed by Prashanth Varma and produced by Mani Kumaran. The original film was directed by Vikas Bahl, who was accused of sexual harassment in the MeToo India movement, leading to the dissolvement of a major production company in Bollywood.
 
The original film, released in 2014, was a blockbuster hit and won lead actor Kangana Ranaut the National Award for Best Actress.
