NTR Biopic which has been titled Kathaynayakudu is one of the most awaited films in Tollywood. Actor Dr Bharath Reddy will be seen playing the role of Daggubati Venkateswara Rao in the upcoming NTR biopic. NTR’s most trusted aide was his son-in-law Daggubati Venkateswara Rao. On the occasion of Bharath’s birthday, the makers have released a poster which also has Nandamuri Balakrishna in NTR’s political avatar.

The film also stars Vidya Balan, who will be seen playing the role of NTR's wife Basavatarakam. Rana Daggubati is essaying the the role of Chandrababu Naidu, NTR's son-in-law. Sumanth is playing the role of Akkineni Nageswara Rao (ANR). Bengali actor Jisshu Sengupta and many prominent actors from Tollywood are expected to make a cameo appearance in the film. Directed by Krish, the film has music composed by MM Keeravani. The second part titled NTR Mahanayakadu is set to hit the screens on January 24, 2019.
