NTR Biopic which has been titled Kathaynayakudu is one of the most awaited films in Tollywood. Actor Nandamuri Kalyan Ram will be seen playing the role of his late father Nandamuri Harikrishna in the upcoming NTR biopic. The actor share a picture of himself with Nandamuri Balakrishna from the film sets. Kalyan Ram has said that he has united with his uncle Balakrishna after almost 30 years after their last outing ‘Bala Gopaludu’ now for the biopic.

The film also stars Vidya Balan, who will be seen playing the role of NTR's wife Basavatarakam. Rana Daggubati is essaying the the role of Chandrababu Naidu, NTR's son-in-law. Sumanth is playing the role of Akkineni Nageswara Rao (ANR). Bengali actor Jisshu Sengupta and many prominent actors from Tollywood are expected to make a cameo appearance in the film. Directed by Krish, the film has music composed by MM Keeravani. The film is set to hit the screens on January 9, 2019.
