Vetrimaaran and Dhanush's upcoming gangster drama Vada Chennai is all set for a release on October 17, 2018 and will have its US premiere the same day i.e. local time October 16, 2018. 

The film's release in the US is more noticeable than ever, for films' predecessors such as Pariyerum Perumal, 96, Chekka Chivantha Vaanam and Kolamaavu Kokila have done extremely well at the US box-office and the distributor of the last two films in the US, G2G1 International LLC is releasing Vada Chennai as well in the country. 

As Vada Chennai is releasing on a Tuesday in the US, movie-goers can avail the 'Buy 1 Get 1 Free Ticket' offer from AT&T. The tickets are priced at $12 for Adults and $8 for Kids. Vada Chennai which is set over a span of 35 years has Dhanush playing Anbu, a carrom player from North Madras and its story comes with a strong political angle.
