NTR Biopic is one of the most awaited films in Tollywood featuring Nandamuri Balakrishna in the titular role as 'NTR'. The film is a biopic on actor-turned-politician Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR). Sumanth Akkineni who is playing the role of  Akkineni Nageswara Rao (ANR) shared his first look from the film on the occasion of ANR's 94th birth anniversary.

Sumanth has started shooting for his portions a couple of days back. The film also stars Vidya Balan, who will be seen playing the role of NTR's wife Basavatarakam. Rakul Preet will also play the role of Sridevi in the film. Bengali actor Jisshu Sengupta and many prominent actors from Tollywood are expected to make a cameo appearance in the film. Directed by Krish, NTR Biopic is set to hit the screens for Sankranthi 2019. The film has music composed by MM Keeravani.
