The film marks the comeback of the cinematographer-filmmaker Rajiv Menon to direction after a hiatus of nearly 15 years. Sarvam Thaala Mayam is a musical drama film and GV Prakash plays an aspiring musician. The film has music by AR Rahman. Malayalam actress Aparna Balamurali, plays the female lead in the film.
