Vijay starrer Sarkar is one of the hugely anticipated films in Kollywood this year and earlier today, we had reported that the audio of the film will be releasing on Gandhi Jayanthi and the teaser and single track is expected for Vinayagar Chathurthi (September, 2018). Now, in an official announcement, Sun Pictures, producers of the film have confirmed that the movie will have its audio release on October 2, 2018.

Sarkar starring Vijay and Keerthy Suresh in the lead roles is directed by A.R. Murugadoss and is touted to be an action-packed political drama. Radha Ravi, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Pala Karuppiah play pivotal roles in the film.

While A.R. Rahman is said to perform live at this event, official confirmation on this and the single track, teaser release is still awaited from the makers.
