The shooting of Bharat is progressing at a brisk pace. The team wrapped the first schedule of the film in Mumbai where an elaborate circus segment was shot. Salman Khan and Disha Patani were part of the shoot. The team has already begun the second schedule shoot in Malta with Salman Khan.

Katrina Kaif is headed to Malta to join the team for Bharat shoot. She took to her Instagram to share the news. After Priyanka Chopra's exit, Katrina Kaif has replaced her as the leading lady opposite Salman Khan.
The makers of Bharat released a teaser of the film on the occasion of Independence Day. The teaser has generated a good amount of buzz among the fans and audience. 'Bharat' is an official adaptation of a South Korean film 'Ode to My Father'. The story is about a man who gets separated from his family during the Korean war and how he manages to reunite with the family. Produced by Atul Agnihotri's Reel Life Productions, Bharat is slated to release on Eid 2019.
