The makers of Helicopter Eela have released the trailer of the film. The film directed by Pradeep Sarkar stars Kajol and National award winner Riddhi Sen in the lead roles. The film is slated for release on September 7, 2018. Kajol shared the trailer on her Twitter page.

Kajol plays a single mother aspiring to be a singer in the film while Riddhi Sen plays her son. Neha Dhupia plays a pivotal role. Helicopter Eela, written by Anand Gandhi (Ship of Theseus) and Mitesh Shah, is based on Gandhi’s Gujarati play Beta Kaagdo. Amit Trivedi has composed the music. The film is bankrolled by Ajay Devgn and Pen India Limited.
