Ileana D’Cruz who has been missing from the Tollywood radar for a long while is returning to Telugu cinema after six years. Ileana will be playing one of the leading ladies in Ravi Teja's upcoming film Amar Akbar Anthony. The production house Mythri Movie Makers made the announcement on their official Twitter account.

Ileana made her acting debut in Telugu film Devadasu in 2006. She was part of several blockbusters such as Pokkiri, Jalsa, Kick and Julayi among others. After working in the Telugu industry for six years, she moved to Bollywood after she bagged a role in Ranbir Kapoor's Barfi. Ileana is staging a comeback to Telugu Film Industry again after six years now. 

Ileana has earlier paired opposite Ravi Teja in Kick and Devudu Chesina Manushulu, which also happens to be her last outing in Telugu in 2012. This will be the third time Ileana will be sharing the screen space with Ravi Teja. Amar Akbar Anthony is directed by Sreenu Vaitla. Anu Emmanuel who was initially part of the film opted out citing date issues. Ileana will be replacing her in the film. The film shooting is currently in progress.
