Jyothika's upcoming film Kaatrin Mozhi, which is the Tamil remake of Vidya Balan starrer Tumhari Sulu began shooting from earlier today as announced earlier. The pooja before the shoot was also attended by Jyothika's family, actors Sivakumar and Suriya along with the entire cast and crew of the film. Kaatrin Mozhi will be shot in a start to finish schedule and plans to release by October, 2018.

The movie is a production venture of G. Dhananjayan and is directed by Radha Mohan. The film also starrs Vidharth and Lakshmi Manchu, with A.H. Kaashif (of A. R. Rahman's Qutub-E-Kripa) for music, Mahesh Muthuswami for cinematography and Praveen K.L. for the edits.
