Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara starrer 'Naanum Rowdy Dhaan' directed by Vignesh Shivn is all set to be remade in Kannada. Dhanush’s production house “Wunderbar Films” bankrolled the original film.

One of the leading Tamil newspaper has carried a report recently saying that the Kannada remake version is set to be produced by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films and the actor is making his entry into Sandalwood through this production venture. However the news has been denied by the production house clarifying that Kannada production company ‘Jacob Films’ will be funding this project.

According to reports, the hit pair Rishi and Shraddha Srinath of ‘Operation Alamelamma’ fame will be re-uniting again for ‘Naanum Rowdy Dhaan’ Kannada remake. The film will be produced by Jacob Varghese. Newcomer Islahuddin will be debuting as the director.
