Thalapathy 62 is one of the eagerly awaited films this year. The team recently wrapped a schedule in Chennai and about 45% of the film shoot has been wrapped. The team will start the next schedule in mid-May in Chennai. A song will be shot in this schedule featuring the lead pair Vijay and Keerthy Suresh. Varalakshmi plays a key role in this film. Her portions will also be shot by end of May.

A foreign schedule has also been planned. The team will leave to USA in June after wrapping Chennai schedule. A song will also be shot in this schedule.  The entire shooting is expected to be wrapped by end of July.

Vijay’s birthday falls on June 22. The team is planning a surprise on the occasion of the star’s birthday. According to reports, the much-awaited first look and title announcement is expected to be made on Vijay’s birthday. However, we await an official confirmation regarding the same.

Thalapathy 62 is directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sun Pictures. AR Rahman is scoring the music. The film also stars Radha Ravi, Pala Karuppiah, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Yogi Babu. The makers are planning to release the film for Diwali.
