Deepika Padukone may have featured in Dharma Productions produced Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani but the actress has never really been directed by Karan Johar in a career spanning 10+ years. Now, putting an end to this, Karan Johar finally got to direct the Padmaavat actress and the same was revealed by one of Dharma's other directors Punit Malhotra through his twitter handle. The dream collaboration however, seemed to be for an ad-shoot just like Punit's earlier ad-shoots with Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan for D'decor and Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan for a cleanliness campaign.
