Almost after 3 decades since their last outing Ajooba (1991) released, veteran actors Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor have reunited on screen for Umesh Shukla's upcoming directorial 102 Not Out, whose trailer was released today. Based on a Gujarati play of the same name, 102 Not Out is a satirical take on the generation gap and will see Bachchan and Kapoor don the role of a 102 year old father and his 75 year old son respectively.
Produced by Bhushan Kumar of T Series in association with Sony Pictures India, the film has Mr. Bachchan donning the role of a 102 year old Dattaraya Vakhariya who is hell bent on breaking the oldest person record on the world, which in the movie is held by a Chinese man. Kapoor plays his 75 year old son Babu who compared to his quirky father, comes across as cautious and cynical. 102 Not Out hits theatre screens on May 4, 2018.
