Saamy 2 will be one of Hari’s most stylish film. The shooting of Saamy 2 (Saamy Square) is progressing at a brisk pace. The team resumed shooting after short hiatus last month. According to reports, the film shoot took place in various locations like airports, railway stations, Delhi, Jaisalmer and Yercaud. About 80% of the film shoot is complete. Few action sequences and songs are left to be shot. One of the songs will be shot in a foreign location.

A set of a street, resembling to the one which featured in the original Saamy, is being recreated, where an action sequence will be shot. Saamy 2 is is sequel to director Hari’s 2003 blockbuster film Saamy. Chiyaan Vikram and Keerthy Suresh play the lead roles. The supporting cast includes Prabhu, Bobby Simha and Soori.
