Raid starring Ajay Devgn, Ileana D’Cruz, Saurabh Shukla in the lead roles hit the screens on March 16. After an ordinary start in morning shows, Raid showed a solid growth due to strong word of mouth from the audience. The film has received positive reviews from the critics as well as the audience. Raid has done good business at the Box Office in its opening weekend. It has emerged as the second highest opening weekend grosser of 2018 after Padmaavat. The film has collected Rs. 41.01 crore in the opening weekend.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the numbers on Twitter. He wrote:

Shahid Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's magnum opus Padmaavat tops the chart with Rs 75.05 crore nett earnings. Ajay Devgn’s Raid overtooko Akshay Kumar’s Padman, which had earned Rs 38.80 crore approximately in its opening weekend.
The film is based on the 1981's longest IT-raid in Lucknow and Ajay Devgn plays an honest IT officer. The film is directed by Raj Kumar Gupta.
