The teaser of Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film Bharat Ane Nenu was released on March 6, 2018. The video has gone viral raking in 528K likes to become the most liked Telugu film teaser on YouTube. Bharath Ane Nenu is the first Telugu film to achieve this feat.  The record was earlier held by Pawan Kalyan’s Agnyaathavaasi with 505 likes.

Mahesh Babu plays the Chief Minister in the film. The minute long teaser shows Mahesh Babu take on the mantle of the state. The video became viral within minutes of its launch, getting rave responses from all quarters. The teaser has been viewed by over 13 million people and still trending on top in Youtube.

There are huge expectations on the film as it has Mahesh Babu playing a politician for the first time in his career. The star will be appearing as the Chief Minister of undivided Andhra. Touted to be a political thriller, the film also stars Kiara Advani in a lead role. The film is directed by Koratala Siva and music score by Devi Sri Prasad. The film is slated for release on April 27, 2018.
