Only recently, there were reports of Vijay's upcoming film, Thalapathy 62 having actors Radha Ravi and actor/producer/politico Pazha Karuppiah as two of the three villains in the movie. Now it has officially been announced that actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar will be seen playing a major role as well in the Vijay starrer. This is the first time Varalaxmi will be seen in a Vijay movie and the announcement has been marking the occasion of her birthday today.
Directed by A.R. Murugadoss, Thalapathy 62 has Keerthy Suresh playing female lead and plans to hit theatre screens by Diwali this year. The movie has A.R. Rahman for the music, Girish Gangadharan for cinematography and Sreekar Prasad for the edits. Kalanithi Maran of Sun Pictures is producing the film.
