In October last year, MovieCrow broke the news of actor Karthi 's next film being finalized with Prince Pictures and that it will begin post the actor's film with director Pandiraj. Late Last night, Prince Pictures that has produced movies like Si 3 and Mohini confirmed the same, adding that Karthi 17 (tentative title) will be released in association with Reliance Entertainment.
Though the cast and crew of Karthi 17 has not been officially announced, our earlier reports suggested that Rakul Preet Singh will be playing the female lead, with debutant Rajat (former assistant of director R. Kannan) at the helm, Harris Jayaraj for music, Velraj for the camera and Ruben for the edits. Let us wait and watch if the same team is being confirmed by the makers as well.
