Happy Bhag Jayegi is a 2016 romantic comedy film written and directed by Mudassar Aziz. The film was produced by Anand L. Rai and Krishika Lulla. Diana Penty played the title role as Happy, a runaway bride.

The makers have announced the sequel to the film which has been titled 'Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi'. Sonakshi Sinha has been roped in as the leading lady along with Diana Penty. Both will play the title role as 'Happy'. We need to wait and watch if both of them will runaway on their Big day?

The sequel will be directed by Mudassar Aziz, who had also directed the first part. The film is set to hit the screens on August 24, 2018
