The Mysskin - Ram starrer Savarakathi was released on Feb 9. The film received very good reviews and there was an expectation that it would go on to become a sleeper Hit. But the film hardly had any shows in its 2nd week and is almost completely out of all TN theaters.
At the Natpunna Ennanu Theriyuma audio launch today morning in Chennai, Mysskin was one of the invitees. He gave a heartfelt speech as always.
"I agree that Savarakathi isn't a big Hit. But my regular audience and the media really liked it and raved about it. If there is a good film, the media will go out of its way and give it the due respect.
Piracy is equivalent to stealing! Cinema has to be taken care of and nurtured. It is greater than God."
