Ilayaraja sings for Dhanush in Maari 2
Dhanush starrer Maari 2 which is one of the Tamil film sequels awaited in 2018, had a major announcement recently and the lead star Dhanush took to his social media page to announce the development himself. Maari 2 will have music maestro Ilayaraja, father of the film's musician Yuvan Shankar Raja croon a song in his voice. From the pictures, seems like the composing session was attended by Dhanush and the movie's director Balaji Mohan as well.

Maari 2 swill see Dhanush return as the street gangster with Sai Pallavi playing the female lead and Malayalam actor Tovino Thomas playing the villain. Actors Krishna, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Robo Shankar and Vinodh too have important roles to play in this sequel which is produced by Dhanush's home banner Wunderbar Films.
