Saamy Square planned as a Ramzan release

The shoots of the Chiyaan Vikram starrer Saamy Square is close to 45% complete. The film's shoot has been stalled temporarily due to the recent demise of Vikram's father. The team plans to release the film for Ramzan, June 14 Thursday.

Hari directs this sequel where Vikram is said to play dual roles. Keerthy Suresh is the heroine while Trisha recently walked out of this Thameens Films production. Vikram will have three releases this year, with Sketch set to be censored soon.

The film may either release for Pongal or the Republic Day weekend. The long in the making Dhruva Natchathiram, directed by Gautham Menon has to be completed too.
