Vikram plays dual roles in Saamy Square?
The shooting of Vikram starrer Saamy Square faced many hurdles including the mid-way exit of Harris Jayaraj, Trisha and the unexpected demise of cinematographer Priyan. Now, the film has finally resumed shooting and is currently on a 20-day long schedule at Chennai. While we reported about this a while ago, what we have learnt new about the film is that Vikram is indeed playing dual roles in Saamy Square as speculated in media reports earlier.
A little birdie tells us that the current shooting involves scenes of one of the characters of Vikram ; whereas for his other role, he is yet to begin shooting. Also it is said that the usage of square (which means double) in the title is indicative of this double role. However, it is worth mentioning that the team hasn't made this information official yet.
Saamy Square currently starrs Sadha, Keerthy Suresh, Prabhu, Soori and Bobby Simha with Devi Sri Prasad for music, Venkatesh for camera and V.T. Vijayan for edits. This Shibu Thameens production venture is directed by Hari and is expected to hit theatre screens in 2018.
