Kamal Haasan donates Rs. 20 lakh for Tamil Chair in Harvard

Following the state government's donation of Rs. 10 crore towards the setting up of a Tamil chair at the Harvard University, actor Kamal Haasan today came up with a personal donation of Rs. 20 lakh. If one may recall, Kamal has been a huge supporter of the Tamil chair idea at Harvard ever since it was floated by US-based Tamil enthusiasts Dr. Vijay Janakiraman (Cardiologist) and Dr. S.T. Sambandham (oncologist).
