Actor Karthi's film after Theeran Adhigaram Ondru began with an official pooja at Chennai today. The pooja was attended by Karthi, director Pandiraj, Sayyesha who is the female lead, Suriya the producer and the rest of the cast including Sathyaraj, Sreeman, Soori, Ponvannan among others. 

Suriya and Karthi 's father Sivakumar was also seen attending the ceremony and rendering his wishes to his sons. The yet untitled film is 2D Entertainment's 5th production venture and has Velraj for camera and Imman for music. Touted to be a family entertainer set in a rural backdrop, the film was last in the news for Suriya being approached to play a cameo in it.
