2 more spectacular Mersal moments

We had reported yesterday that Mersal has crossed the 200 CR WW gross mark after the 2nd weekend. Hence, in effect, the WW theatrical share of the film has crossed the 100 CR mark. This is another spectacular milestone for this Thalapathy Vijay film.

When many South films featuring big stars sometimes struggle to even gross more than 100 CR WW, Mersal has gotten a share of more than 100 CR.

Meanwhile, in Malaysia, Mersal is now the all-time no.3 Indian grosser behind only Dilwale and Kabali. After the 2nd weekend, it has grossed more than 11mil MYR (close to 17 CR) and has an outside chance of beating Kabali too.
