Editor Ruben's statement on Mersal deleted scenes
After producer Hema Rukmani confirmed that there has been no mutes or cuts but the team is willing to change anything if required in her production house's 100th film Mersal, another member of the film's team has come out issuing a clarification. Editor Antony L Ruben, who a few days ago sent out a sarcastic tweet taking a dig at the news of film's scenes being deleted (read about it here), has now come out with a statement on the same. It read :
Well, it sure seems like the controversy and the media speculation surrounding the film is ending no time soon; Nevertheless, the noise adding to Mersal's box-office collections is making it all a little less daunting.
