No Mersal trailer!

Director Atlee and his wife met the press in Chennai today, for a short informal greet session. He thanked the press for supporting him all through and also conveyed his Diwali wishes.

On the sidelines of the event, we came to know that there won't be a separate Mersal trailer launched. The teaser is already a raging hit and the two video promos have also worked big time. The team may launch a few more such promos to keep fans happy.

The release is just 8 days away. Hopefully, the theatre owners, producers and the TN government reach an agreement over ticket rates and local tax asap, and Mersal releases for Diwali as planned.
