Bejoy Nambiar, Dulquer Salmaan speak up on Solo climax change
Last week, Dulquer Salmaan starrer Solo met an unfortunate roadblock in Tamil-Nadu after being pulled-off from the theatre screens due to the state's fight against double taxation and increase in ticket prices. The film ran for a whole one day before the theatre shut-downs and the producers' Council strike. Now, the film has again run into an unexpected turn; this time the own-makers being the ones to blame.
The climax of the Malayalam version of Solo was changed after a certain section of the audience reacted negatively to it. What's unfortunate here is that this creative decision seems to have been taken and implemented without the director's consent by producer Abraham Mathew. Speaking up on the same, Bejoy Nambiar addressed the issue through his twitter handle, where he wrote :
For all those asking about the changed ending. It has been done without my knowledge and consent.Good or Bad I stand by the film I made.

Dulquer on the other hand, went a step ahead and requested his audience too to stop spreading negativity around the climax. In a lengthy Facebook note, he wrote :
