SPYder Preview - Another Murugadoss blockbuster on the cards

The successful behind-the-scenes Thuppaki team is back with SPYder, which has started to hit the screens, beginning tomorrow in the US. Check out what to expect from the film.

Mahesh Babu's screen persona

Going by the trailer, Mahesh Babu's on-screen charm and persona seems to serve as a major plus point for hooking the audience to his film. Since SPYder is his debut Tamil film, it sure would be a treat to watch the Okkadu star enact the perfect blend of class and mass, that he is generally known for.

AR Murugadoss - The dutiful director

The movie is directed by AR Murugadoss, who is known for addressing social messages through his highly successful commercial films. The essentially qualified no-language-barrier director has taken up a challenge of introducing an established star of Mahesh Babu's stature and as its their first-time together, we expect an all the more interesting output to be seen on screen.

Proper Bi-lingual on Bio-Terrorism

SPYder is not your regular bi-lingual where lip-syncs play major spoil-sport in one language or the other. The cast has been segregated for Tamil, Telugu and Mahesh Babu has dubbed flawlessly in his own voice for both languages. Also, the core subject of the film - bio-terrorism, has a universal appeal to it and would reach the audience's sensibilities in both languages.

SJ Suryah's Villainous Act

The movie has SJ Suryah playing the merciless villain. As an actor known for his dependable performance, expect him to come up with convincing acts while he shares limelight with the Telugu starlet.

Technical Strength

As we said in our introduction, AR Murugadoss is repeating his successful core technicians from Thuppaki. While Harris Jayaraj played a pivotal role in making Thuppaki a success, the name Santosh Sivan in itself is a brand and the addition of it to any project makes it a must-watch. The high-octane stunt sequences one noticed in the trailer, serve as cherry on the cake.
