'Gold' first poster released on Akshay Kumar's birthday

The first poster of Akshay Kumar's Gold has been released marking the actor's birthday. Akshay Kumar, who is ringing in his 50th birthday and to mark his golden jubilee, he treated his fans to a new poster of his upcoming movie Gold. Akshay Kumar took to twitter and shared the first poster of the film

Gold stars Akshay Kumar and Mouni Roy in the lead roles. The film will be a historical sports drama which will showcase the journey of India winning its 1st gold medal as a free nation in the Olympics, 1948. 

The film will be directed by Reema Katgi, who previously helmed Talaash and Honeymoono Travels Pvt. Ltd. The movie will be produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under the banner of Excel Entertainment and is set to hit the screens on 15th August, 2018.
