Sandakozhi 2 - Lingusamy confirms shooting date

Sandakozhi, actor Vishal's film with director Lingusamy was a blockbuster in 2005. A sequel to this super hit movie Sandakozhi 2 has been in the talks for a while now, with Varalaxmi Sarathkumar playing a negative role in it. Now, director lingusamy has confirmed that the film is all set to begin shooting from August 31, 2017. The movie will be shot in Chennai for over 40 days at a stretch and currently a huge set is being erected for that. Also starring Keerthy Suresh and Raj Kiran, Sandakozhi 2 will be bankrolled by Vishal Film Factory and will have Yuvan Shankar Raja for the music. The film is expected to release for Pongal next year i.e. January 2018.
