Dhanush - Balaji Mohan's Maari 2 begins 

Director Balaji Mohan who delivered a hit with Maari had revealed earlier this year that he has finalized a script for the sequel to the film. Titled Maari 2, the movie will have Dhanush reprising his role of the titular character and actors Robo Shankar and Vinod reprising the role of his side-kicks.

Now the latest development regarding this project is that the team had began the film with official Pooja ceremony.

While the earlier film Maari was a joint production of Listin Stephen, Magic Frames and Wunderbar Films, Maari 2 will be bankrolled by Dhanush's Wunderbar Films. The other cast and crew details of the movie is expected to be announced soon.
