Nanban now in final stages of post production

Director Shankar 's Nanban has officially completed its shoot portion. In Tamil Industry, there is an official way to say it -- "Nanbanuku Poosinikai Odaichaachu". Director Shankar has confirmed that Nanban will be a Pongal release on January 14th. The audio launch will happen during the 1st week of December. 

The winning combination of Shankar & Harris Jayaraj is most anticipated after the rocking success of Anniyan in 2005. This project is more interesting because this is the first time Vijay will be joining hands with Shankar and Harris after many failed attempts to unite in the past. Little known fact is that Harris had been approached for 4 out of last 5 Vijay movies and Shankar's first choice for Mudhalvan was Vijay. Due to various reasons, these combinations never materialized and fizzled after initial talks.

This is one of the first true multi-starrers in Tamil with Vijay acting along with Srikanth and Jiiva who already has a blockbuster hit in his back-pocket. Finally, the top notch talents in their respective fields have decided to come together under Shankar for Nanban which makes it one of the most exciting projects for 2012.
