Actor Sivakarthikeyan's movie with director Mohan Raja which is titled Velaikkaran (after a 1987, SP Muthuraman film featuring Rajinikanth) has begun ita dubbing session today. This comes days ahead after the movie's first look release, which happened on June 5, 2017. Touted be a complete entertainer, the film is said revolve around the hero's fight against the issue of food adulteration and is set to hit theatre screens on September 29, 2017.

The film began shooting in late last year and is bankrolled by 24AM Studios. The movie has an ensemble cast of Nayanthara, Sneha, Fahad Fassil, Prakash Raj, RJ Balaji, Satish and yesteryear actress Rohini with music by Anirudh Ravichander.
