Nana Patekar plays Politician in Rajinikanth's Kaala

Actor Rajinikanth's 164th film Kaala which is being directed by Pa. Ranjith has Bollywood actor Nana Patekar play a role in it. Latest news on the casting is that Patekar will be seen playing the role of a politician who is also the main antagonist in the film. Reportedly, Patekar will also be seen locking horns with the lead actor Rajini who plays the role of an aged gangster in the movie. The role of Nana Paterkar is said to force the residents of Dharavi to vacate their lands and Rajinikanth's character is said to stand up for those residents. 

Kaala is the production venture of Dhanush's Wunderbar Films and also stars Huma Quershi, Anjali Patil, Samuthirakani, Pankaj Tripathi, Arvind Akash among others. Actress Eashwari Rao plays the love interest of Rajini in the movie which is expected to hit theatre screens in the second half of 2018.
