Priya Bhavani Shankar ventures into feature films 

Following the foot-steps of Siva-Karthikeyan and Ma.Ka.Pa Anand, popular TV actress Priya Bhavani Shankar who stole many a hearts with her daily soap, is taking a big step into the movie business. The actress who rose to fame with Kalyanam Mudhal Kadhal Varai which is a Tamil adaptation of Ekta Kapoor's Yeh Hai Mohabbatein will be seen debuting into Kollywood with a full-length feature film. Shankar, who was apparently on a break from acting to complete her post-graduation agreed to do the film because of her instant connection to the script. 

Talking about the movie, the actress has revealed that she has almost completed shooting her portions and an official announcement on the movie will be made sometime after June 20, 2017. The actress is also hopeful of continuing in films in case her entry receives a positive response from the audience.
