Kamal's Vishwaroopam confirms January 11 release 

After lying in the cans waiting for buyers for almost 6 months, Vishwaroopam has finally announced the release date of January 11, 2013. The Pongal 2013 battle has just intensified with Alex Pandian, Madha Gaja Raja & Aadhibhagavan already announcing the intent to release on Pongal. It will be interesting to see which movie will decide to back-out of the race.

Vishwaroopam/Viswaroop will simultaneously release in Tamil,Telugu and Hindi in more than 3000 prints world wide. The audio will be released by Sony Music and is expected to be on air in the next few days.
