Naragasooran - Sundeep Kishan is the new hero says D16 director Karthik Naren

Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru aka D16 fame director Karthik Naren has confirmed in a recent interview that his meticulously planned upcoming project Naragasooran, has undergone a major cast change. The lead role which was earlier supposed to be donned by Naga Chaitanya, has now been filled by Sundeep Kishan. This development comes in light of Naga Chaitanya's opting out due to date issues. 

From its inception, Naragasooran has been in the news because of its predecessor D 16 being a total surprise at the box-office (It swept off major bucks despite being from a debut director). The star cast that kept adding (Aravind Swamy, Shriya Saran, Indrajith Sukumaran) only amped its limelight even more. The movie is expected to begin shooting by end of August or September this year and will jointly be produced by Gautham Menon's Ondraga Entertainment and Karthik Naren's home banner Night Nostalgia.
