Aamir Khan's 'Secret Superstar' to clash with Rajinikanth's '2.0' this Diwali

Aamir Khan will next be seen on the big screen in a film titled ‘Secret Superstar’. The movie was earlier scheduled to release on 4 August, but now the date has been shifted to Diwali 2017. The film will now clash with Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar-starrer 2.0. Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh shared this information on his twitter page

SRK and Anushka’s untitled flick, and Akshay’s ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ will be hitting the screens on August 11 which will be the second week of ‘Secret Superstar’ if the film would be releasing on August 4. The Aamir Khan-starrer would be marginalised due to the two other biggies, so that’s why the film has been postponed.

According to DNA  "Aamir himelf called Rajni sir and discussed his concerns vis-a-vis Secret Superstar shifting from August to Diwali. Both the actors share a warn bond and it was with Rajni sir's blessings that Aamir has announced a Diwali release for Secret Superstar." 

Secret Superstar features the Dangal actress Zaira Wasim in the lead, who has just won the prestigious National Award for Best Supporting Actor. A Zee Studios presentation, Secret Superrstar is produced by Aamir Khan Productions and written-directed by Advait Chandan.
