Is STR's Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangathavan back on track?

Earlier this month, we came to you with the report of Simbu's upcoming movie Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangathavan (AAA), getting stalled (Read about it here) and deviating from its planned release on April 14, 2017. While the actor himself is busy composing music for the Santhanam starrer Sakka Podu Podu Raja, director of AAA Adhik Ravichandran, has come up with this announcement on his twitter page

It is to be noted here that a preview of the mentioned teaser [featuring the look of Ashwin Thatha, a 60 year old Simbu plays in the movie] was released by the film's team in February (watch it here). Now with the full teaser of Ashwin Thatha look getting a release on March 18, 2017, one begins to wonder if the movie is back on track or was this something that was already planned prior to the stalling. 

Also starring Shriya Saran and Tamannah,  AAA has Simbu donning two other roles which include Madurai Michael - an 80's gangster romantic and an unrevealed third role. With Yuvan Shankar Raja for the music, the film has been produced by Global Infotainment Private Limited.
