DIWALI COUNT DOWN BEGINS - 15 DAYS TO GO!

Vijay - The last few years have not been great for the actor with Kuruvi, Villu, Vettaikaran and Sura struggling at the box office. However, Kaavalan salvaged his sagging career to an extent. Kaavalan could have been a bigger hit if not for the stiff Pongal competition and difficult political challenges he had to face. Velayudham will be Vijay's last mass action hero movie (for a while) before he transitions himself to become a Director's actor with Nanban, Yohan and ARM's next movie.

Suriya - The career graph has been steadily pointing up after his blockbuster Ayan. Suriya's Singham broke many records and was remade in Hindi and many other regional languages. Suriya had a few hurdles in the form of Aadhavan and Raktha Charithra. But, he is looking very confident with 7am Arivu with solid backing from an A-Class team. 

On Diwali, we will know whether Suriya can sustain the 2nd position which he recently claimed or can Vijay regain his long-held position back again? Let's wait and See...
